Books are proposed by members from their own "Good books I have read" 
Each book is "introduced" by its proposer giving a brief background on the author ~ using information available on the internet. Then we discuss characters/issues/themes arising, sometimes relating this to our own experiences or other reading.

A new booklist is compiled annually. Because we have no meeting in January, a lengthy "doorstop" book is discussed at this meeting.

We do run a waiting list for this popular group, so if you wish to join please don’t put it off – we will quickly contact any applicant to send our current booklist and answer any questions you may have.
