The new Discovering History group is an exciting opportunity, offering members a chance to explore historical topics through a variety of formats, including discussion, presentations, visual media and visits to historical sites. The first sessions will include: Womens' life and work in the medieval period; Life in the workhouse; and using an episode of Downton Abbey to reflect on upstairs and downstairs in country houses. Further topics will be decided by group members in due course.
