This is quite an advanced German Language group. We discuss topics of importance in Germany at any given time, using Deutsche Welle for source material. We also read well known authors, exploring novels, plays and poetry. "Wordle" is a popular warm up activity, and we enjoy quizzes, charades and other word games. In this group we speak mainly German. Autumn term begins on Tuesday 7 October 2025. We meet in the Colonel Dane Memorial Hall in Alwalton, which has its own car park adjacent to the Hall. There is a small accommodation cost and a small charge to cover refreshments and printing of materials. This varies a little, dependent on group size, but will equate to approximately £2 per 2 hour session, payable termly.
