Meeting in the Blue Diamond café on the 3rd Monday of each month until Werrington library is able to resume Open+ access on Monday afternoons. We read a wide range of modern and classic crime fiction which is provided by the library for an annual subscription fee of about £5 (depending on group numbers). Our lively discussions focus on the sense of place, character development, relationships, plotting and pace and include the tropes of detective fiction, issues of editing and translation and the success, or otherwise, of screen adaptations.
