Singing for Pleasure


Group Description :
We sing as a group from printed words, which are supplied. We enjoy an eclectic selection of music from shows, folk songs, light classical and traditional genres. No audition is necessary and there is no requirement to read music. We meet fortnightly, please see the exact dates below.

Physical AccessThe venue is suitable for all mobility access including Mobility Scooters
Bus Route / Accessible ParkingThere is parking for approx 40 cars onsite (rear car park) and on-street parking nearby.  Is on the Citi4 bus route from the city centre
AmplificationThere is amplification (speakers and an inductive loop system - however training is required before the church will allow use
Accoustic FeaturesGood general sound acoustics in the hall
Size of RoomSmall room will seat 10 @ £8/hr   - Large hall seats 100 @£18/hr
KitchenYes - with normal safety processes in place

Fire safetyFire alarms and extinguishers in place and tested regularly.  4 escape routes in case of fire.  Emergency Lighting and signage in place.  Evacuation assembly point on grass area at back of church.  Emergency Notices  on the wall adjacent to
the main entrance door and on the notice board in the church vestibule.
